Overall
- Install the server on a single computer and it immediately becomes available to
any other computer connected to the internet, without installing any additional software.

Web Based Defect Tracking

Email Notification
- Fast BugTrack sends instant email notification when a bug is assigned or re-assigned to a user.

- Works with Exchange, Outlook, POP, IMAP, Netscape, Mozilla, Eudora, Lotus and others.
- Email notification can be Html or Plaintext
- Support for international character sets within email messages.

Workflow

Unique Features
- Unique Id feature allows you to create projects with a unique set of ids for different customers or uses. Also allows id prefixing.
- Ranking Field allows you to create your own escalation functions to rank issues as you desire.
- New cloning feature allows users the ability to clone an existing bug to pre-populate fields for similar issues.
- Allow linking of bugs by simply typing "bug X" in any field or description.
- Customizable headers and footers allow customers to display any html that they wish on any or all pages. This allows you to link to other systems or add customized instructions.

Charting
- Chart the data in the database in one of five formats: stack chart, pie chart, line chart, bar chart, column chart - in 2D or 3D.
- Chart criteria based on internal values (assigned to, status, date entered, date modified, priority, entered by, project, area, version, environment, requested due date, actual completion data, estimated hours, actual hours, percent complete, last modified by) or based on custom fields created by an administrator.
