Charts
The charting feature allows a user to compare bug data from the system in a more visual form. This feature is quite powerful, in that it allows a user to customize the axes and incorporate the filters to extract more precise data.
The Quick Charts section on the top of the page, includes a few quick links for more commonly used charts, such as the "Assigned to" pie chart.
The Custom Charts section allows the user to be creative and choose any fields for comparisons. It also allows you to specify the chart type. This chart shows a column chart comparing each users current bugs (Assigned To) against the user that originally entered the bug (Entered By).
Note:
- The filters can sometimes cause problems for users if they forget that a filter is active. If you are missing information about specific issues in your output, it is probably because a filter is set. If a filter is active, you will notice its definition at the top of the page.
- Charts can be saved for future use by entering a name in the "Save As" field, when selecting the criteria for the chart. If nothing is typed here, the chart is created, but can not be used again later.
